Why we chose this place
A corner of California we’ve loved for years
One of the things we love most about Mountain Daddies is our location. Tucked away in the Sierra foothills, we're close enough to spend the day exploring Yosemite National Park or Bass Lake, while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of mountain living when you return home for the evening.
Although Julio and I have called Oakhurst home for less than a year, this area has been part of our lives for much longer. Jax's family has lived here for more than 20 years, and we've spent countless weekends and holidays visiting Yosemite, exploring the surrounding communities, and falling in love with everything this corner of California has to offer.
When we decided to leave city life behind and open Mountain Daddies Bed & Breakfast, there was never any question about where we wanted to be.
