The Daddies

We're Jax and Julio, the owners and hosts of Mountain Daddies Bed & Breakfast.

After more than 20 years of city life, we decided it was time for a change. Drawn by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada and the opportunity to be closer to family, we made the move to Oakhurst to begin a new chapter and create the kind of place we would love to stay ourselves.

As a married gay couple, we believe hospitality is about making people feel genuinely welcome, comfortable, and at home. Mountain Daddies was born from our dream of sharing our mountain home with travelers from all walks of life while creating meaningful connections along the way.

As an owner-hosted bed and breakfast, we live on the property and take pride in providing a warm, personal experience for every guest. Whether we're preparing breakfast, sharing recommendations for Yosemite and the surrounding area, or simply chatting over coffee, we enjoy getting to know the wonderful people who stay with us.

When we're not hosting, you'll often find us exploring the mountains, cooking, working on projects around the property, or spending time with family and our two dogs Chloé & Sébastien. We look forward to welcoming you to our mountain home and sharing the beauty, warmth, and hospitality of the Sierra foothills.
